Some of the supporting organisations will be arranging optional activities for their existing and potential members on Tuesday evening, 9th November. This will offer several options for delegates to network with other delegates and members of the various organisations.

Optional Events

Commonwealth Networking Reception - 17.45-18.45 
HIC Level 5 (above Check-in Desk)

The Commonwealth Secretariat invite all delegates from Commonwealth Countries to an informal networking reception on Level 5 of the Harrogate International Centre - up the ramp or the escalator or the stairs near the Check-in Desk.  This event will be an ideal opportunity to meet senior representatives from the Commonwealth Special Advisory Services Division and also meet delegates from other Commonwealth Countries for discussions on topics of mutual interest.

Eligible delegates will be issued with one FREE DRINK ticket with their Name Badge given out at Check-in.  Other delegates will be welcome - but they will have to buy their own drinks!

After this Reception, you may wish to make up informal groups to go out to the wide selection of nearby restaurants and hotels or alternatively join one of the following events organised by CIM, IBC and SFEDI.

Sparkling Starters at Revolution Vodka Bar

All delegates are invited from 18.00 at the Revolution Vodka Bar, in the Royal Baths, Montpellier Gardens about a 2 minute walk from Harrogate International Centre (HIC).

Canapés will be served throughout the evening and guests will be offered a complimentary drink.

The event will include an announcement of the first Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs Honorary fellows.

Event closes approximately 20.30 but the bar will remain open for those who wish to stay.
